Jasper and Quartz Cabochon
This beautifal jasper with quartz veins interlaced is a beautifal and unique large cabochon! It originates from north of Salida, Colorado and additionally displays two beautifal pyrite crystals! It is truly a wonderful example of metamorphosis in how the host jasper was metamorphosed and "injected" with the quartz and pyrite in this stone's geologic journey!
This cabochon is 34 x 51 mm with a bezel of 4 mm and a dome of 3 mm. This piece is 85.05 carats or .6 ounces. It has a rounded dome and flat bottom.
